Landing in Rome and driving two hours in rush hour to Latina. HOT. Except in Dubai, we’ve never seen so much sun on weather forecast. Excited, happy and curious.

This was our second time shooting a wedding in Italy and we have never been in Latina, so we couldn’t wait to see the city.

Lelia and Silvio drove us from Rome airport to their home, where we ate the best pasta ever! Well, we ate pasta everyday and we really can say they are true masters of pasta.

Later in the evening, Silvio made a surprise for Lelia. He sang a serenade with his band under Lelia’s balcony. Unfortunately we didn’t understand a single word, but we are sure it was a really nice song, since Lelia ran downstairs and jumped into Silvio’s arms.

The next day, Lelia and Silvio dressed up and then we drove separately to the most gorgeous church we’ve seen. Church Abbazia di Valvisciolo is bright and almost all white, its really a wedding photographer’s dream come true. After they loudly said YES to each other, we went to Giardino di Ninfa for a shooting. Gosh what a beautiful place! If you haven’t been there already you should totally go. It’s a garden with so many different flowers and botanical species.

Party time started earlier than we are used to at Slovenian weddings. Dancing and singing on terrace of resturant Cincinnato was loud and crazy and you can see what a great time they had! Sun and high temperatures obviously didn’t stop them.

Soon day was over and everybody went home. We did some extra portrait shoot in lovely evening light and so this day filled with love and happiness has come to its end.

We can’t thank you enough Lelia and Silvio for having us on the most important day of your lives (and for all delicious pasta and pizza we ate 🙂
We hope our paths will cross again in the future.
